Judith Sloan in Yo Miss! Teaching Inside the Cultural Divide, a work-in-progress
Double Bill with Chen Lo and the Liberation Family

Yo Miss! by Judith Sloan is a sometimes funny, sometimes sad, always truth-seeking performance based on the actor’s twenty years of teaching in inner city schools and prisons. Using music, poetry, and vivid character portrayals, Sloan breaks down assumptions that often divide seemingly conflicting worlds.
written and performed by Judith Sloan
directed by Michael Dinwiddie
music composed by Taylor Rivelli and Ken White
performed live with Ken White
additional music & sound composed by David Krakauer, Dave Guy, Frank London, Samir Zariff, Lars Deitrich, Judith Sloan

Chen Lo and the Liberation Family, perform soulful, relatable Hip Hop that fuses mastery in performance with the ability to empower and uplift through music.
“Chen Lo, has a lot more on his mind than the average performer...Lo is all about using his music to impact communities in a positive way.”
