First UrbanX "Battle For The Streets" Comp at the 2009 Afro-Punk Festival.
The winner of the the APX/UrbanX "Battle For The Streets" contest won a trip to the X-Games courtesy of ESPN.

The Live shows, skate park, BMX and live art took place July 4th-6th in the Brooklyn Academy of Music Parking Lot in Brooklyn, NY + Block Party on July 12th.
The line-up included artists such as Saul Williams, Janelle Monae, Earl Greyhound, Whole Wheat Bread, Pure Hell, Dallas Austin, Tamar-kali, The Objex, Elevator Fight, American Fangs, The London Souls and many more.
