Yes, I did make it out to Brooklyn this year. Let's make plans to go next year! Nice to hear from you, sista. Motherhood for a whole year this month! That's a blessing. When Omar, Jr turned 1, I wore a happy birthday tiarra to my job. I even had a cake in the teacher staff room with pictures of my first year as a mother all around it. September 10 is a your day, too. Don't forget to do something special for yourself. BTW, I did the crown and cake thang for the next 3 years. tee hee Love.
HEY. Thank you so much for the love. Yeah, we're out in Toronto. We're about to release our album in June. (it has lyrics). lol. Good luck with the music!

Birmingham is a little more hipper than Montgomery. And I think Huntsville is the hippest of them all when it comes to black culture.
Combining raw talent with a go-getter attitude, Terry Kennedy worked his way from skating in the streets of Long Beach to pro skater and entrepreneur.

Afro-punk is a platform for the other Black experience, the one we don't see in our media. D.I.Y (Do It Yourself) is the foundation.
