TRANSCEND THE CORE IS LOOKING FOR A NEW DRUMMER
The New York based, fourpiece Transcend the Core has been active for over a year booking and playing shows and after their drummer leaves in August they are looking for someone to play drums to carry on playing live in the area and eventually beyond.
They’re looking for a fun, friendly and focused musician who can produce 3 / 4, 4 / 4 timing and syncopated rhythms to their Chevelle, Alice in Chains, A Perfect Circle, Nirvana and Tool influenced core sound. Also a person with a sensitive ear and ability to produce beats to changes in musical dynamics and tempos would be ideal. An individual male or female between the ages of 24 – 30 years of age would also be great. They’re also looking for a hardworking, player who’s willing to play a couple shows a month and rehearse at least once a week and have some fun in the process.
They have a few shows booked in the summer (see the band myspace), which our current drummer can play on, and during that time we are willing to work with a musician to get them acclimated to the material to be ready to play shows in the following months.
TTC have a played sets at the Don Hill’s, The Public Assembly, The Trash Bar, The Fat Baby, Fontana’s, The Annex
