My brother has been saying the same thing. Hopefully it comes out sometime soon. It did pretty well for such a limited release.

A crime that this movie isn't playing in DC. A CRIME!!!!
October 22
It's definitely the funniest thing I've seen all year. I will be quoting one liners from that movie forever.
October 22
Just saw it last night. Classic, had me laughing through the whole thing. Serious one of the best this year.
October 21
Well it is just a film. It doen't have to achieve at "life".
October 17
HAHA! Black Devil Doll...? I can't tell if that movie is purposely god awful and trying to be funny, or just god awful. Either way it fails at life.
October 17
Tempted, but only beacause Arsenio is in it. I probably still won't go.
October 16
The ONLY film that matters this year? Really? Hundreds ov films have been released all over [& from all over] the world this year. Can't afew ov 'em matter? I would think BLACK DEVIL DOLL matters atleast as much.

About Me
I work in Civil Rights by day and rock New York City by night. I've been a professional rock musician since I was 14. Back in PA I played ten amazing years with my Brothers in Next of Kin and helped create a thriving original rock music scene in Central PA. Then I moved to New York and have been kicking ass with my new band ORWEL ever since. I think we are the only rock band right now that is writing a Zombie rock opera.

This whole Afropunk movement while mainly a label is something I have been looking for since I was in high school. There is a huge black collective out there that doesn't fit the average stereotype of the "black community." We don't go to church, we don't think R&B is still significant, we have respect for women and REAL creativity, and we understand that Hip Hop lost it's way at least 10 years ago and still hasn't set itself back on the right course.

We are a punch to the face of neo black minstrelsy. Fuck B.E.T., Fuck the old civil rights leaders who are now selling out there community, and long live Afropunk!
