Occupation:

Unemployed at the moment, like most of NJ. Graphic designer, writer and mother, normally.

Favorite bands:

Too many to list. I like punk of most flavors; melodic hardcore, old school, a little of that folksy stuff, a bit of crust. Outside of punk, there's metal and old school Philly soul and R&B.

Favorite movies:

The Princess Bride, Reservoir Dogs, Hot Fuzz, Boondock Saints, Robocop (haha!), Pan's Labyrinth, Labyrinth, The Riddick Chronicles, Tank Girl, Iron Man, X-men I & II, The Goonies, The 13th Warrior, and a few hundred more that I just don't have time to list. Assume I like most animation, fantasy and sci-fi, and action flicks. I'll forgive flaws in plotting over interesting characters, and I love good editing.

Favorite books:

Another potentially ridiculously long list... I'll just throw a few out there. Gaiman's American Gods and Anansi Boys, Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, The HItchhiker's Guide, Where the Wild Things Are, Maya Deren's Divine Horsemen, Elliot's Jaran series, most things by C.S. Friedman...and quite a lot of non-fiction, because research is my friend.

Favorite Magazines:

I mostly read blogs at this point. I used to have a subscription to G.Q.

Favorite TV shows:

Now that Avatar and Dr. Who's done with, I haven't found a show. Every now and then I catch a few episodes of House and Mythbusters. I admit, I don't watch a lot of TV.
