About Me
- Update...Well I just got a 10000+ scholarship to go to Borough Manhattan Community college. Woot Woot. I will be going for Human/Social Services(Psychology...Hopefully i'll be helping children/teens, especially troubled ones. One of my many dreams has been to own my practice and help Gothic/troubled youth. Maybe I will pursue this...Well...Maybe not my own practice. But I will try to lean my practices towards this.) and Multimedia Programming(Photography, Graphic Design, Sculpture). Yes...I still plan to make music in the very near future. The dream has not died. I"m also modelling now. I'm trying to get together a profile that I can send to Wicked Talent, and through them maybe i'll get some gigs, be on a bands' album art, in a music video, as an extra in a horror movie, or maybe you'll see me on Suicide Girls one day...Or Blueblood...Or in Gothic Beauty. I'm going to do mainstream and alternative modelling.

I...Consider myself to be someone of below-average interest. I'm not the most interesting specimen in the universe, and I certainly have not lived a very eventful life, thus far.

But I would say that I am an artsy chick. I think too much for my own good. Maybe even my own health. But I can't stop thinking about my life, my past, my experiences, my future, and the many stupid things people do, apparently for no reason at all. If I go through a horrendous breakup, i'm liable to contemplate it for a long time, for example.

I like to fill my life with meaning...Cause i'm not always going to be here. So most of the things I read or watch or listen to are deep in meaning.

I don't like to be serious *All the time. Cause that's no good. Sometimes you will find me reading some Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy novel, or something else comical, like Good Omens, watching Family Guy, Colbert Report, or listening to Ween, or mindless zombie music pretty much about nothing but eating brains for breakfast.

But most of the stuff I surround myself with is serious, I guess. But i'm a fun person to be around.

Most of the time i'm really shy, and don't say much. But I like to joke around and say things that don't make any sense.

I love to do things that are "me". I'm actually going back to my roots, as far as the way I like to dress. I feel I deviated for a bit, and all for some chap who wasn't worth my time anyways...So I'm bringing spooky back! I love the diy aesthetic...And I've made quite a few pieces which were going to be in my portfolio. You can check those out under the "My Art" section of my photo page. I use to only shop at certain places...Especially Gothic and Punk stores. But nowadays I find that I can find whatever I want to wear, at whatever store I want. I like the fact that I can buy a $6 corset at Strawberry's, instead of buying it from a place at a price I can't afford, anyways. Or a $30 leather jacket, instead of having to fork out $145. I like person i've become.
You can be my friend if...
You're not a racist or sexist douchebag.

Band Question -Band Members:
I guess you could say that i'm "looking" for a band. I"m willing to try anything. I'm eclectic. But I do have an uber passion for cabaret and other devilishly carnival-style music. But I would like to dabble in as many genres as I can...And yes I mean everything. Jazz, metal, neosoul, cabaret, medieval, folk, techno, ska, punk, industrial, etc etc Some of the songs I write sound like they're from the 40s-50s. Now, I have to warn you, though. I might have two guitars, but my guitar playing skills are all but null and void.

But I can sing:)

I would LOVE to record my music. So if you think you would like to be a part of that, message me.
Band Question - Musical Influences:
Amanda Palmer, Amy Winehouse, Jill Tracy,

What if God was one of us? Parts 1 and 2

What if God was one of us? Part 2;)
One of the fundamental propeties of my philosophy is that I am not a believer in blind faith. "I don't believe it until I see it." That's my motto. This is not to say that everything I believe(And thus, everything I have seen) is the nature of reality. BUT, if I am to believe in something other than what I have seen, I must first see it. I especially mean this spiritually. I would love to believe that the spirit continues to live after death, in ghosts, angels… Continue

I'm okay, my wife just got a job. I've applied to atleast 20 different jobs (and that doesn't count the ones I've applied to before we got to NYC).
Still on the grind.
The shelter we're staying at is more like a hostel. Its in Manhattan (5 blocks from Central Park).
The people that live in our building are a mix. Some are decent, some are out-right crazy.
It shifts from day to day, the noise is usually annoying, but not frightening.
But, the other night I witnessed something horrific.
A truly horrifying experience I will never forget.
Most of it my wife doesn't understand (because she never lived around gheto people).
Anyway,... I'm hoping to get certified at the MNN (cable channel) so that I can produce some stuff.
I hope you're still at your artistic endeavors.

That stuff gets under my skin, too. Hanging out with men like that who are generally either asses or in the 16-36 age group can really turn anyone off men. It's disgusting.
Blech.
