Profile Information

Name
Melanie
About Me
I'm Melanie.
I wear skinny jeans and sneakers every day.
I proudly live in Chicago (I only sleep in the nearby south-east suburbs).
I don't drink pop or eat red meat and I'm an on/off vegetarian
I listen to This American Life and read bizarre books in my free time.
I try not to follow racial, gender, economic, and regional stereotypes.
I'm the 'artsy kid' who takes organic chemistry.
I own a slr camera, digital camera, fisheye camera, Polaroid camera, homemade pinhole camera, but I use my cellphone camera the most.
I care a lot about music, street fashion, psychology and photography.
I'm a true 80's baby without the gold chain and I listen to more alternative rock than a party a rockstar-er.
I listen to mainly post-hardcore, indie, electro and hip-hop in its purest form (80s and early 90s) and new artist who keep hip-hop alive.
I have very few friends who listen to the same types of music as me, but that doesn't stop me from liking what I like.
I hope to be part of at least one social revolution before I get old.
You can call me a 'uber liberal' because I care a lot about social issues and different cultures within and outside of America.
I want to travel the world one day, especially Japan, China, India, Liberia, England, South Africa, Paris, Australia, and The Netherlands.
People say I act like I'm from California or New York.
I plan to live in Southern California or Brooklyn one day.
People say I talk 'proper' and I will never utter 'aint' or any form of ebonics because my parents have sacrificed too much and I want to present myself in the best way possible no matter who I'm around.
I'm a Psychology Pre-med major and one day I will become a child psychiatrist.
You can be my friend if...
your a cool kid

CHANGE HAS COME
WWW.JETFUELFORREVOLUTION.COM

WE ARE EVERYWHERE
IN THE DNA OF MANY NATIONS
AND WE MAKE THE PLANET ROCK
GIVE IT THAT COOL TILT ON ITS ROTATION
WE RUN CORPORATIONS
WE RUN THE STREETS
WE RUN POPULAR CULTURE
WE ARE BIGGER THAN YOU HATERS
AND THIS MOMENT IN HISTORY
IS BIGGER THAN US
YOU NEED TO BE DOWN
AND BECOME LOVERS
BECAUSE LOVE IS STRONGER THAN HATE
DIDN'T YOU SEE "DO THE RIGHT THING"?
HATE....KNOCKED OUT BY LOVE
IT'S A PAINT THE WHITE HOUSE PARTY
AND YOU ARE INVITED
IMAGINE THE COLORS
IMAGINE THEM RUNNING
BLEEDING TOGETHER
THE WAY WE BLEED TOGETHER
IN WAR
BLEEDING FROM THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A NEW WHITE HOUSE
AND NOT THE DESTRUCTION
OF US ALL
OBAMA-VISION IS ON
WATCH IT AND DON'T BLINK
YOU WILL SEE THE PAST
AND THE LESSONS IT'S TAUGHT US
YOU WILL SEE THE PRESENT
AND WHAT IT HAS WROUGHT US
AND YOU WILL SEE THE FUTURE
AND US DANCING IN THE DISTANCE
DANCE WITH US
TO THE RHYTHM
OF A NEW HEARTBEAT!

FINALLY, A DEFINITE ALTERNATIVE!

ARE YOU DOWN?

Hi! My name is Jay B. Walker A.K.A. Zyyro. I am an artist, activist and director in film and tv who left the security of working in TV in NYC to keep my sister's ATL based non-profit alive. .A passion for change fuels my life. It fueled my sister's life too. She was a Doctor, Classical Singer and a Filmaker Educated at Howard University. A true Renaissance woman.

From Medicine to Music to Movies.....she did it all and started a non-profit in ATL to create excitement about learning through teaching film production. She supported it out of her pocket from 1997 til passing away in April 2008. I am attempting to keep her dream alive and continue making "CHANGE" a reality. I need your help though.

The logo and pics you see are of the 1st edition of my "CHANGE SHIRT" COLLECTION. A black vintage t-shirt that celebrates this new day and time. We've made a drastic change in Washington...we can make a drastic change in the world! I am attempting to do my part.

I am selling the "CHANGE SHIRT" at www.jetfuelforrevolution.com. The first one is limited to only 2000 pieces and will be a collectors item.

THE CHANGE SHIRT MAKES CHANGES!!! The next limited editions will be offered in other colors. I would appreciate your support by buying one for you and friends as gifts...or just spreading the word.

The name of the non-profit is MADE4YAYA, standing for: MUSIC-ARTS-DRAMA-EDUCATION-4-YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS.
Your purchase is tax deductible.

MADE4YAYA is a 501C3 non-profit corporation. For more info contact me.
WHOLESALE AND SALES REP OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE!

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!

Jay B. "Mastermind Zyyro" Walker
Brother to Dr. Lillie Ruth Walker, M.D., founder of MADE4YAYA
