screamo has it's place...and to me it just means kids are still pioneering music in our country at a healthy speed, whether I like every little genre or not
I agree. But I think these genere titles just make it easier than saying.. "well this band has a little bit of punk a dash of metal but it also kinda has an art rock vibe but then there's a song with a piano in it and some Fugazi-ish stuff.." I just…
I honestly can't think ov a more useless, more un-called for genre than "post hardcore".
Check out Bearvsshark. The vocalist, switches betweens, barking and singing and randomly screaming. Their music is kinda hard to place. I guess maybe they'd be considered post-hardcore.
