This issue has been on mind lately - self hatred and race identification - especially among BLatinos (Blacks who live in Latin American/Caribbean countries). A friend of one of my assistants is Panamanian and refuses to see or claim African ancest...
hell yes. we've done a few a couple years ago out here. though we did the dinner thing. way fun. I am actually planning one in the next few months, even though us folks in LA are very very geographically spread out.
Let me follow up on this by putting some restrcitions for location and time. I work the night shift and I'm east of downtown in the IE. If I go to the Westside, I've got a window Mo-Sa 10AM - 2 PM to get in and out. Unless I have plans to hang in ...
