About Me
There’s something big and bold about this band with a skinny name. TRIM has thoughtful lyrics, exquisite musicianship and the nerve to be different.

There wasn’t a particular sound or style in mind when Dave West, Spencer Coleman, Matt Romano and David Lee Hall first brought their gear to a dingy New York rehearsal studio. They simply flipped on the switch and let their diverse musical, social and ethnic backgrounds blend together to create music they themselves have difficulty describing.

One could say TRIM harkens back to the days of the Police or Kings X, when bands weren’t afraid to explore and make odd stylistic mixtures that were surprisingly Pop.

Evolve, TRIM’s debut EP gives us a chance to really hear their eloquence and eclectic musicality. With a range from frenetic Rock to finger-popping soul, Evolve has fit into many college and Internet radio play-lists.

Now TRIM has released a follow-up four-song “teaser” entitled Progress – which shows just that. Progress is personal. David Lee Hall’s vocals dance through the rich grooving texture laid down by his comrades as he laments, reminisces and questions this modern world.

TRIM has their sights on expanding their fanbase, securing label support and releasing a full-length recording in the near future. Like the titles of their two current releases, expect to see these guys Evolve and Progress.
