It's hilarious how you roasted Rev. Sharpton and gave him props at the same time. But I agree with you, about the good and the bad. On a realted note: what has the NAACP done for us lately?. Somebody clue me in, please.

Well that makes sense. It's funny though because most of the shows I get messages about I can't even go to. So usually they get ignored like you said. It is all in your approach. I just know I'm guilty of going straight to the message board most t...

But D, Think about it. If these bands post blogs or start a thread how many of us are actually gonna go check it out? I don't mind the friend request and inbox stuff that much. I actually think this site should be more about building a community a...

This song kicks more ass than you think. Ask Kurt Cobain. He lifts the riff that starts at 0:45 as the basis for "Smells Like Teen Spirit".

When I heard that this was going to be a concept album split into five suites I was like "Uh-oh, Another new artist has overdosed on the his own hype kool-aid and will inevitably be crushed by the weight of his own ambition". Well, that sort of happens here, but Kudi's genuine personality prevents it from… Continue

The President's Black, So Now What?

At around 10:45pm Tuesday night I was pulsing through the subterranean arteries of what is considered the capital of the freeworld. My wish was to leave my job earlier so that I could go home and watch the play by play progress as all of the votes were coming in. But like so many Americans, work sometimes takes a bigger chunk out of our lives than we would like. The average person is probably not thrilled to devote so much of their time to the service of someone else everyday but ultimately a se… Continue

Yesterday, I was working my ass off! I was doing it big time at my school, handlin all kind of stuff, like the queen I am. And what words did I quietly sing all day? They can never take this away from me. Imma stand by my vision faithfully. Just pray for me. I'm still on my grind everyday. I'm on my grizzly. Yeah! Peace, Po.
