Our first afro-punk meet up was fun and tasty. It was great to meet each other in person. If others want to organize other meet ups/events, i'm game. A viewing of the afro-punk movie is in the future.

yeah I'm going and want to organize a meet up before hand at Ben's Chili Bowl. More details later but if anyone wants to help organize this, the more the merrier. Some folks have already expressed interest.
