I would invest in a faucet filter and one of those shampoo-hose hookups. Make sure to replace the filter cartridge often enough. Do some extra moisturizing, too... hot oil treatments are always good. For skin care, I recommend Kirk's Coco Castile ...

Whoa, I'd never thought about that.
You might have to buy some distilled water or make your own and do it like a rinse, maybe put some essential oils in there. Either that or a filter to take the lead out which may be expensive.
