Hey Afropunk.com my name is Jaszmine and I am located in New Orleans via New Jersey. I am a 22 year old free-spirited painter that is trying to portray African Americans in a different way through art. I am 6'3 (Amazonian), mixed (Hawaiian,Irish,native American and black) and I am trying to make a big dent in the Black community in New Orleans (tough crowd dude). Anyways I am a music junkie ( goes hand in hand with painting), I love bars/lounges, I could go for a good underground show here and there, love coffee shops, and finding interesting ways to make people re-evaluate their ignorant thought... (one of my favorite pastime hobbies *smurks) This is all.

I am a freelance artist. I pick up random gigs here and there to make ends meet. I am working around my painting time.. Yes Yes I know as a starving artist it should be vice versa,but then again art is my life and that comes before anything and everything
