Actually, it hasn't happened yet. It's this Friday and Saturday so you can still go if you want to :-) If not I understand. Hopefully it goes well.

Hey,

Sorry about the late response. I guess I'm not really a Hoosier. I'm from Houston/Austin Texas. I go to school at Indiana U. Speaking of which, are you coming to our Black Rock Conference????

Hey curvydivajc, this is a response for your post. I am only 17 but I just got accepted to Arcadia University with a $15500 a year scholarship... I am spending my first semester studying abroad in London, England with a major in Global Media! Hopefully this will be the start to a career in journalism and get me to where I want to be in life. In my four years at Arcadia, I plan to study in Australia, France, and Japan. Maybe spend a summer vacation in Italy!

Hiya Curvy!
I just read your post about interracial marriages and couldn't agree more with your comments. Why is it that black women have their relationships politicised so much? The answer is in the book my wife and I have written (sorry about the plug!). It is entitled: One Love Two Colours: The unlikely marriage of a Punk Rocker & his African Queen, by Bobby Smith & Margaret Oshindele-Smith (us!) The book looks at all the issues revolving around black women/white men - as we found that such couplings are largely ignored in the media. You can check out the book at: www.amazon.co.uk We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
