Born in Philly, now live in Osaka. Have all kinds of music on my iPod. When people ask what genre I do, I say rock of course, and I can literally see the question mark hovering above their heads. (Since of course I'm only allowed to listen to r&b or hip-hop). Even after recovering from that shock, they still invite me to sing at jazz/r&b events. OY VEY!

I always thought that I was the only freak. Very glad to see there are LOTS of us. :) The fact that I actually have an Afro seals my membership. :) Happy to have found, and to be a part of, this community.
