- well i'd suggest that you get something not too expensive. I'd probably just go to a local skate shop and see whats out there. There's so many different kinds of skateboards ( size and shape) so the guy or gal working there should be able to help with your first one. You shouldn't one that hella expensive because you might not like skateboarding.
