i've had a monroe for 12 years, and it doesn't bother me. but its pretty high up. whatever you do, dont get the center labret. move it over to one side below the tooth line

Have been toying with the idea of getting pierced in the lip/chin area. I'm worried I wouldn't be able to stop biting on a lip ring if I got one. Or that it would irritate my teeth. Eh. Halp.

7 tattoos (plans for more), 4 piercings (monroe, double helix, tongue) surgery robbed me of my beautiful navel ring of 14 years :(

Efe your tattoo sounds really cool. My ink is also heritage based. Now i am looking at wood carvings or prints by a particular artist from Barbados where my family is from.
