I am getting a new tattoo before summer. The location will be on my chest right next to my arm pit. (In the middle from neck to breast about the shoulder area.) I am wanting to get something that says acceptance without the word acceptance. I have been looking for symbols and all that and I can't find anything. Any suggestions or ideas?

The next time you go to a tattoo shop in your area, look at the displays of symbols they have. Some are asian symbols, others are either sanskritt, and or arabic ,but carefully weigh your options. And tattoo magazines can give you some good ideas also.

CurvyDiva dont look at the books - dont look at the books. A tatto needs to not only mean something to you but also be you. Its your body and so if you put somehting on it make sure it is part of who you are. If your thinking about the word or subject of acceptance. Then why. Where did ths happen, what was it. Is there a song, place,e piece of art a person or thing that can be translated into a visual.

Take your time contiune your journey of accetance and look around you. You will naturally end up in the chair when its time.

eg 23 years ago a guy I knew had prostate cancer and had was told he had 4 to 6 months to live. He went to the local supermarket and bought a steak took it home and ate it. After thinking he took the wrapper the steak was in to a tattooist and had the best before date tattooed down the length of his forearm and adjusted it for 6 months ahead. He lived 2 years longer, and probably with more passion than those he left behind live now.

Your ink will come to you.

All the best

I'm working on a tattoo now. Someone told me I was the catalyst for his previous relationship starting up again and being better than before. Too bad it was a guy I cared for myself. I thought of what being a catalyst meant for me, and drew it out. I'm making a painting of it now, and it will eventually be the tattoo for my back. When I finally put it on me, the word "Catalyst" will be nowhere to be found. But I'll know what it means.
