Natural Salon Recommendations in DC/MD

Hi I've read some of the negative salon experiences that people have wrote about. Are there any salons in the DC/MD area preferably in the silver spring area that deal with natural hair care.

My hair is becoming a pain to do on my own, I'm just looking for a place that would give me a break from the styling routine once in a while.

I'm looking for fairly inexpensive places that have satisfied customers. LOL. So far all I can come up with is Jaha Hair Studios. I've been there once but they mostly specialize in loc maintenance. They gave me some flat twists and sent me on my way, which would have been great if that's what I wanted.

Maybe we could compile a list for DC/MD area and expand it as well for others in various locations.

Hmmm. There's a place over by Howard University called Joya. I've never been there and usually I do my own hair so I can't tell you if they are good or not but I know a lot of people go there :/

I've never heard of Joya but I'll check it out. I know DIY is usually the best way for natural hair, but sometimes it's nice to have a little help.
