Ladyfest sounds cool, if I had a car and wasn't trying to get over a cold I'd totally go. Also, tomorrow night at the Knitting Factory is the Bluebeat Lounge Anniversary show with Joey Altruda's Crucial Riddims, Chris Murray Combo and a bunch of other great bands. And of course on Sunday the Hollywood Farmer's market! Anyone else a farmer's market fanatic? Carmela ice cream and the thai place's chicken satay are seriously the best LA eats! And Sunday night, Anavan is playing Part Time Punks at The Echo, never seen em but one of the dudes dresses up like a Teradactyl (not sure if I spelled that right) so it's bound to be a good time.

If anyone is bored this weekend there is something going on in Inglewood, CA called LadyFest. Look under events for more info or click here.

Hit me up if you are thinking about checking it out. I am not associated with it. I'm just glad someone is actually doing something in my city.
