What I made for dinner last night: Roasted garlic and rosemary tofu, jalapeno cream corn, vegan mac-n-cheese, real sweet cornbread, garlic snap beans and some fresh limeade [= can u say vegan soulfood???

I want to be a vegetarian. More people in this country die from effects of saturated fat than anything else. However, us black folk teach each other that meat from animals which contains high amounts saturated fat are essential to a healthy diet. I've been told this by people who know that I know better. It pisses me off. "Comedians" like Monique tell people that it's all a joke and obese is actually the thing to be. It's like telling people to smoke cigarettes. Not funny.
