yeah that's true...there havent been a whole lot of people from the DIY punk scene to join & stay in this community, usually they come & leave almost right away. it's too bad. I ran into more Black punk rockers faster on punkrockers.com and that site is pretty crappy

Its kinda funny but i was looking back at the movie and back when it first came out it was alot more "punk" than now. Its been a big shift over the years.

hopefully having this group will help those kind of bands find people too. you know, oi, street punk, crust, anarcho punk, etc. if your band is an old fashioned UK82 style punk band for example, you will be more hard pressed to find fans on Afropunk than if you're a funk, rap indie fusion band.

I made this group not to be elitest, but I think every scene could use more influence from the world wide underground all ages uncensored punk rock scene...
