As far as the last two shows I've gone to...

Saul Williams at the 9:30 club. Saul was great, CX Kidtronix was crazy and Dragons of Zynth did their thing. I also had fun at the Dizzee Rascal show featuring El-P. Mr Dibbs and Busdriver, but the Saul show wins out.

I can already tell I would have enjoyed J*Davey, but sadly Bohemian Caverns was packed and I couldn't get in. After torturing myself by hearing them rip 5 songs from outside, I accepted the fact that I wasn't getting in(or paying $15 for half a show) and went home brokenhearted. :(

First rock show I've been to was this free show outdoor show with Papa Roach and (Hed) P.E. I was in Baltimore.

Hmmm...*rubs chin*

After much deliberation I'm going to say The Dresden Dolls at Ramshead Live! It was the first time I came out of a show, so pumped up about life and music and everything. Me and my friend Jenna were so inspired that night that she started a zine and I decided that before the year was out, I was going to start a band.

Capitol Heights? I wasn't aware anyone was into hardcore there.

Last month I saw a kickass show at the Velvet Lounge with McRad, Throwdown Syndicate, Machetres and Insurrection. All the rockin I could dream of with the heart & soul to back it up! Good turnout as well...

Already I have to scratch my initial reply... last Friday's show at Velvet Lounge was off the hook. The Traumas set it off proper with a scorching set, followed by the rhythmic rockers of OmegaBand. Next up was McRad who always come correct and blew the roof off and then last but not least was HR and his current line-up the Dubb Agents. The show was packed and nothin but irie vibes. Good Times!

Not capital heights, Columbia Heights. Like 14th and Irving area. Between Mt. P and Petworth.
