oh my god, I feel like crying for Precious.
I am such a fuckin CRY baby when it comes to emotionally-deep films.
She was so brave. It breaks my heart.
Everybody.... SUPPORT this film!
Please.
(hopefully, our cities will show it, wherever we live)

MoNique is far more incredible than most folks tend to give credit to. Here's the trailer:
Golem_3 Comment by Golem_3 on May 19, 2009 at 7:06pm
yeah, thats the one.
He made a film on it, with the talents of MoNique (who gives a career-turning, bone-chilling performance, I heard) Lenny Kravitz, Paula Patton and Mariah Carey.
El Machetero Comment by El Machetero on May 19, 2009 at 6:27pm
You mean the one based on the Sapphire novel?
Golem_3 Comment by Golem_3 on May 19, 2009 at 6:26pm
Did anybody see Lee Daniel's latest film Push?
I think it only screened at Sundance.
