Afro-punk

Afro-punk

Think you're the shit in your town?

Do you think you're in the know on your AP scene? If yes, then we want you.

Afro-punk is going on their first U.S. tour headlined by Saul Williams: Niggy Tardust Experience, and we are looking for people like you to work with us if we are touring your city. Right now we want to locate dope places where you and other AP'ers in your hometown hang out. This includes venues, skate shops, a popular skate/bike park, or anywhere else you think strongly represents your scene.

We are also looking for active members in your city's AP community to feature and/or help us with tour duties. So if it's YOU or someone you know in your city that's big on the AP scene (for example: proskaters, a local extreme sport group (skaters, bike, choppers), a local popular band, punk fashion designers, or black skate shop owners) or people who love the AP scene and wants to help out with their city's tour, let us know.

Hit me up at whitney@afropunk.com and let me know what's going on in your city. Please include your name, phone number, and best time to reach you in the e-mail. Here is the link for the list of the cities and dates we are stopping at:

Afro-punk is a platform for the other Black experience, the one we don't see in our media. D.I.Y (Do It Yourself) is the foundation.
