Represent your AP scene and score a free ticket to your city show!

Are you "in-the-know" when it comes to uncovering underground venues, alternative scenes, artists and other afro-punkers in your city? Do you think you have what it takes to live Afro-punk for a day?

Afro-punk is embarking on its first national tour and hitting a city near you. We're looking for volunteers in each city with first hand experience of what it truly means to embody the Afro-punk lifestyle - self-expressing, DIY, individualism, flair, creativity, alternative lifestyle and all things niche - for the first Afro-punk tour ever!

Here's what you can look forward to if selected:

- FREE TICKET to your city's Saul Williams - "The Niggy Tardust Experience" show
- T-shirt
- Back-stage access to meet the bands in your city
and much much more!!

So if you think you fit the bill, drop us an email with your name, e-mail, and phone number at whitney@afropunk.com describing yourself and why you think you are the afro-punker we need and are looking for!

I lived out in Hanover for a year, but I was in Baltimore a lot throughout my teens though.

guide to local and contemporary baltimore hardcore. i know at least one person out of all of these bands and they're good dudes, worth supporting. baltimore hardcore is very very diverse, ranging from wholesome shit like Mindset, to filthy satanic but slightly funny shit like Surroundings. come out to shows.

if you're into:
