Have you ever had a parent tell you that? My dad was watching Lakeview terrace or what ever it's called and he just started going on a completely random topic: If I date a white boy. My mom got mad at him and said that I could marry whoever I wanted too ( not that I am getting married. There is something about sharing a room with a "soulmate" that makes me want to keep my room all to myself). Does anyone else face these issues from parents? And to tell the truth im not even intrested in any guys ( or girls) i'm focusing on other things.

On the real though, I don't date white women. I even turn down the dome. I don't smash and dash 'em either. I just really prefer black women i.e. women of recent African descent. I'd date a Tamil, or any of those darker asian women like Torres Strait Islanders or Fijians too. I like what I like and for political reasons I date black women exclusively.

I don't feel the need to degrade and demean white people though. Yes, they can be shysty but so can los negros. You can't tell me no black person has ever fucked you over. If old boy was shitty that was him. Fuck him! Move on to a better friend. I had one white guy friend fuck me over. I have had many black friends male and female do it. That's just shitty people dog. That said I do prefer my black friends.

I will give you ultimate props for not being a bitch ass coward and speaking your mind. There's plenty of people on this board that feel the same as you do but they are cowards and won't speak up. I respect the fact that you're not mincing words either. If that's how you feel that's how you feel. I am not going to ostracize you for it and I won't be acting like a bitch and shitting on you in pm and asking for you to be banned either. The racial epithets thing is getting kind of crazy though. Honestly, as a parent of two boys and one girl (two of my kids whom are fast approaching dating age), I'd prefer they'd bring home an african american first. I understand that it is hypocritical of me as I had dated outside my race and had that experience, and also where we live and where they go to school there are not too many black kids, but that's just how I feel. I want to see myself in the man my daughter brings home, and I want to see my son's mother, not just physically but someone who has lived the african american experience (and although things are a lot better for you kids now than when I was coming up, it is STILL an experience). But having been on the other end of being that kid that's been in my girlfriend's parents home and watching their faces as they tried to digest my blackness and what it meant for their daughter to be with me, I would never put anyone my kids were dating through that. I'd let them know privately how I felt, but treat their boyfriends/girlfriends with respect.

I feel you, guy. I mean, I'm not trying to beef with mothafuckas, but they keep spittin' that fire at me, so I'm not giving them right of way and I'm not gonna kiss anyone's ass for the sake of it. My parents joke about it, but it's a little late my niece is half mexican and my nephew is half white, I think they would prefer if me and my sisters dated within our own race, but in the end it's our happiness that matters most.
