What it is by Lynda Barry ... a guide on how to write fiction or how to tap into that place where inspiration comes from... and it's got a bit of her personal history and how she started writing and drawing. :] It's very good--the inside front and back covers are scans of the cards of phrases that obviously helped in guiding her on organizing the book so I read through that first and it was neat discovering the ideas fleshed out as I went through the book. Good stuff... definitely on my to-buy list once i get settled somewhere with bookshelves. ha
