Shooting At Army Base

There's been a shooting at Ft.Hood army base. 13 capped, at least. The shooter is [apparently] a Mulsim. Predictably, death threats to mosques have already started pouring in.

This, in a way, would make it the military's fault for not addressing the mental health needs of a soldier that they knew was under duress. It is incredibly crucial that such cases be addressed because, well, soldiers have access to ammunition and high powered assault weapons. I mentioned double jeopardy earlier because I wonder if the army just figured "oh he's a psychiatrist thus he should know how to deal with his own issues in a constructive manner."

My big question - why did this guy even join the military or stick it with the military. There are plenty of jobs for psychiatrists else where. It's not like he is a teenager in high school who believes the world starts and ends in high school thus shooting it up is an immature way to "break out and away" and "deal with those bullies and other stressors" because he/she feels "stuck". A grown adult man, one who has spent countless years and resources getting medical education, should know better. He must have really snapped; but, it would make better sense if he had already been "over there" and thus snapping would be PTSD related. Waiting for more details to emerge.

Also, i find it quite telling that people everywhere would get into a hysterical emotional fit over the deaths ov 13 soldiers. How many American soldiers have we lost in the fraud that is the Iraqi occupation? Past 4,000 by now, is it? Add to that, our losses in Afghanistan. Add to that, citizens from other countries who joined on our "behave". Add to that, total number ov civilians killed in those two countries.
Tally now skyrockets to MILLIONS. So really, why all the fuss over 13 extra people? B/c their deaths are a direct result ov our "war on terror". Plus, this isn't the 1st damned time a U.S. soldier killed others here. Actually, wasn't there an incident just last year when an American soldier tossed two gernades into a tent on his base, killing several fellow soldiers? And the rash ov marine soldiers who mudered their wives or girlfriends after coming back from tours back in the summer ov 2006 [i think]... 5 or 6 cases ALL within a month, ALL within the same state?
How come we never hear about THAT shit over & over?

I garantee you, if this guy were NOT Muslim (& i'm still not sure he really is), even if he were spouting off bible verses from the old testement as he fired, THIS incident at Ft.Hood would've been swept under the rug just the damned same.
