--------------->RAVES! PUT IT OUT THERE!<-----------<3

We have a vent area to say what's eating us.

How about the stuff that goes right?

How about the stuff that inspires us?

No matter how small

It could be a great meal

Extra money on your paycheck

Found $20 on the sidewalk

Helped a little kid learn to tie their shoes...

whatever.

I was kidding about chiseling the price down, but thanks anyway. that's a buck and a quarter I can use.

It's a trip to find out Jay is 39. It kind of reminds me of Google's meteoric rise. At one point I thought he was riding Foxy Brown's coattails. I wonder if Dame Dash is crying in his armandale(?) watching this same episode of Oprah.

^^^ I believe he's officially a member of the 40 / 40 club now along with Puffy. Let's here it for the '69 boyz!
Dame probably wishes Jay wasn't so go-for-selfish and more crew oriented business-wise but hey. Can't fault Jay for wanting share videos with Beyonce more than Dame. Divorces happen.

= I am entirely happy and thankful about my tires performance this weekend. My little '04 Chevy handled the snow & ice excellently while I watched many SUV's and trucks wheels spin & skid. Yeah I was driving carefully but my tires did the damn thing; if they were alive I'd buy them dinner, real talk.

I saw the ring box on the kitchen counter! Omar got me a ring for Christmas!! I've been wearing a gold band for 14 years. It was all we could afford at the time. Now, I get to open up a new wedding ring on Christmas morning. I was so tempted to open the box today. He left it on the counter by accident. It's now wrapped and under our tree. *sigh* I got a new wedding ring!!!!

Congratulations, CA! That's beautiful.

Well even though I'm sad........I am thankful for the extensive joy I still am able to get at least a few times a day, from just MUSIC listening. Sometimes it just makes me a sail for the duration of the song and takes me out of my misery. And you know sometimes that is ALL it takes to get me to see the GOOD shit in life!! :)

Wait, let me also rave about being 47 now and still enjoying life! Even with all the trials and tribulations, life is SO fucking worth great and living!! REALLY!!

I want to rave about my friends that even if I only see you now and then, made me feel so special this past weekend.
Thanks to Hector and Lil' Jeremy and your two little brothers Ian and Noah for sharing the fun at both concerts this weekend.

Ya'll kept me laughing even when my mind wanted to cry occasionally. Girlie shit notwithstanding.....damn, I had FUN with y'all!
We laughed SO hard about that dude who lost his shoe in the mosh pit. BAHAHAAHAHAH!

And Kimmie and Amy and Joya and Emery (even though i don't even know you two!) and Michele and Ernest and Carol, thank you for taking me to lunch at cute and funny old Clifton's Cafeteria. I can't believe they even dressed up the bear statues with Christmas outfits!

I even rave about Kim's comment when Charles and I realized we were born same day same year, after admiring his hot pink shiny suit with matching lime green shoes and satin shirt, "well, that explains a lot!" Tee hee*!!

I rave about having a job that I still like at least some part of every day. Even with the drama of hearing that I missed the knock down drag out fight between K and R.

So many people are out of work. So many people even I know are out of work or underemployed and need to make more money.
Let me rave about my Papa who bought the groceries so I can make the Christmas feast this year. Thank you so much!

my grandma did jello shots at her office xmas party. she put bailey's in my hot cocoa. when i am about to retire i want to be that badass. plus she made copies of this picture featuring the four generations of us-- me at 4 months, my mom, her, and my great grandma. i love that picture. she puts rollers in her hair. refuses to cook, and she has on demand cable so i can bollywood dance and do carmen electra videos in her living room.

this video always makes me extremely happy too. "i'm in high heels you're in flats bitch".
