My good friend Ryan Secrest had a big party, but I ended up going to sleep and missing it. One cup of hot chocolate and I was through.

Wow, everyone looks beautiful and respected!! This is important in 2009. Like Alicia Keys said, there is just too many of us dying for stupid reasons, so this is fantastic keep it going geniuses!! Well I celebrated the New Year by performing at Surreal Estate's New Year's Benefit Party in Brooklyn and I sold some CD's of my debut album Ataska on a new Afropunk label called Unfortunate Miracle Records.

Love ya'lll

I partied at my friends house. we played Dirty Minds and card games. ate awesome food. Sang karaoke, played Wii games and danced all over the living room. Best New Years in long time. so much fun.

Lets see; put the kids to bed; played a little BF2 on the PC and then watched TV in bed comfy with the wife. Finally saved some brain cells this year...

You know Ryan Seacrest? Can you give him my demo? I was at work slaving on New Years and you know what? It was no big deal.

My friend never contacted me to say he would come with me to the NYE party

So I went with my crazy ex and did some illegal things and saw some amazing bands in a basement. I crashed a party nearby and hugged mad strangers. It was the best new years ever; I usually just sit around in my pajamas and watch the ball drop.

got pissed/cooled off by my "friend" (strike #2, nigroe) and ended watching season 4 of "the boy soap opera" bka The Wire.....i'm sure the Seacrest party was fabo, but in these economic times, these bitches made a new Waterford crystal ball to drop? ummmm.....no. it was 12:15 when i realized it was 2009. my man Bubbs was doing good deeds. prop Joe shouldn't have gotten shot. i can't stand marlo stanfield.
