Bernard Lawrence Madoff(Made-Off?), prepatrator ov the biggest ponzi scam in U.S. history apparently sucked most ov his money from gullible, greedy, waaay upper-class Jews, often very famous Jews like Stephen Spilberg.

Madoff, himself a way uppity, Über-Capitoli$t, crooked Jewish philanthropist, had ingaged his own community with phoney promises ov gold & riches. Now all ov these greedy, uppity, Jewish NY socialites will forever rue the day they met Bernard Madoff! LOL

The tone of this post is inappropriate for our site. Your post could have said "Lazy negroes get their come uppins" this kind of racial stereo typing is backward and shows great ignorance. I honestly don't see what the problem is. B/c there's nothing in this story that's untrue. I even left several ligitimate news links for varification - b/c what do i know? But if simply using the word "Jew" even as a matter ov fact has suddenly become intolorable then fine, delete the whole thing. I didn't even know Madoff was Jewish until it was mentioned in an NPR report, so the problem's certainly not with me!

Dude, I know you like to be edgy and shocking and all, but this whole anti-semitism thing does more harm than good. You tend to lose folks and your point gets lost. Now, if you were confronting Zionism, I believe it's fair game.

To be fair and honest, there has been words said about Christianity and Islam(on the old board) and I don't recall a moderator making a peep about it. If your going to go after one guy for making anti-semetic remarks, you should go after folks who make anti-christian remarks. And anti-Republican remarks, and anti fat people remarks, and anti emo remarks...where will it end? Personally, I feel this board should be self moderated and the members should speak up when they feel they need to.This should be about the free exchange of ideas. I do appreciate it when a moderator speaks up when he/she feels the need to, but please be careful not to delete someones profile because you judge his views to be extreme.

Agreed. and lets not forget the blatant homophobia and misogyny that ran rampant on the old board. There have been plenty of things throughtout my time here that's offended me, but I would never want anyone to be censored. I dunno, I'm just asking where does the censoring end? Where exactly is the line?

I tried deleting this thread myself, but apparently that's something only the adm. can do.

I don't goddamn care what he decides to do with it, i already told him he can delete it himself if he wants. I just won't say anything else on the issue, that's all, eventhough the worst thing i did was report someone's ethnicity as a matter ov fact, even thought another person here authored a thread using the words NIGGER, JIGABOO, & COON when he could've easily substituted other words & everyone would've just as easily gotten the point.
I'll just stick to my gold standard for contempt, christians & the police, & not even talk about jews/zionists/Israel any goddamn more.

Most of you don't even know i exist. The article is not the problem i've been following it myself all week. "Greedy Jews Get Their Come-Uppins!" reading this i would assume all jews were greedy and that they deserved what ever they got - what ever that may mean. Now you could replace one of two of those words and apply it to any ethnic group and if that was done i would have the same problem. "Stupid blacks get their come-uppins" - "Rag heads get their come uppins" - "All those ARABS are bad". I welcome controversy but this was brought to my attention by some one else on the board, they were offended by it and i thought it necessary to speak. If their has been some homophobia and misogynistic things on the board and I've missed them i apologize. I receive every post and sometimes I miss things, i normally leave it up to you all. I simply can not tolerate hate of any kind, I believe that's what separate's us from people that would cause another human beings harm based on their religion or color of their skin. I was contacted by three members on the board that alerted me to Damos comments, all of whom were offended which is why i intervened. Had I of seen or been altered to any Christian or Muslim bashing headers to any threads i would have commented. If I'm altered by board members i'll comment. I normally email members directly as I did Damos so as to keep it off the board. Please send me links to any of the headers from the new or old board your referring to. And in reply to your question re banning somebody the answer is yes, I will ban some body if i deem the comment inappropriate as i would if the comment was a racial slur against black folk.

You can't legislate ideas, my friend. Likewise policing thread titles makes no sense if you are not going police thread content. Policing thread content is not punk. If people don't like it they should voice their opinion in the threads. Finally I'm not going to send you any links to any of the other nasty stuff about christians, muslims or any other religion. If you really feel strongly about that sort of thing now that I informed you, you'll look for yourself. You wanna be the police? Do that. Unless of course you're full of shit which is what I suspect. I personally think that you are just being pragmatic about protecting the franchise. You can't market this thing if to all the people you'd like if they percieve it as too radical or not inclusive enough.

I don't place any blame on the Moderator, he's just trying to do his job. I blame the member who snitched.
I'm sorry. That's banged up. If someone had a problem with another member, they should speak up. Or confront the person who has the problem. Going straight to the Moderator is some third grade bullshit and that type of behavior for sure will tear this thing apart. And yeah, my guess is that the person who ratted is not really a punk in any way shape or form because the one thing punks are not, or at least should not be, is cowardly!
