Well, they do exist...And these guys are the real deal.

A long time ago I saw a documentary on the Ching A Ling Nomads. What's up with all the blacks and puerto ricans wearing swastikas?

the swastikas is for the same reason the first wave punk rockers wore em, just shock value to mainstream people, nothing more. I had seen this, Wheels of Soul are legends...

I saw a Black 1% club called Outcast MC on Myspace. Their website is http://outcastmc.com/ I don't know if East Bay Dragons classify themselves as 1 percenters, but they certainly seemed like they lived the life per the president's book, soul on bikes

There are probably more, but a lot of clubs fly under the radar

Paging Jahluv...

Calvin jumped a thread off about this on the old board and I posted a lot in it. There are quite a few Black 1% biker clubs - some with many chapters across the US. True Breed, the one that C-Rocka mentioned, started here in LA.

Here's the book EC mentioned about a famous bay area Black motorcycle club...

Their website his here:

I just ordered a movie called Rockers: American Black Bikers. Calvin posted the YouTube trailer on AfroPunk back in June... I thought it was going to be corny, but I was told its pretty good.

What is so crazy about Swastikas is that before Hitler used them as a symbol for evil they were a symbol of Good Luck in the Persian-Indian cultures. Crazy Huh?

about the swastika even a lot of the White bikers who wear em just do so for shock value. when I was younger I used to hang around in Joliet sometimes on Main Street with some patched members of Outlaws M/C... they didn't care, and they kicked the Angels out of Chicago...theyre the real deal. it was even bigger in thier subculture than it was in punk to wear it just for the reactions from normal people. that said yeah there are are some racists but Hells Angels have racists in the mother chapter and I have seen pictures of some members around Oakland hanging out with Chosen Few and East Bay Dragons, both Black clubs, so don't get to exicted about the swastikas.

jahluv really is your man if you want any history

Yes and it is also a positive symbol among Buddhists. You will see this in the wrought iron gates and stone carved decor of various Buddhist temples (the one in No Hollywood of Thai Buddhist monks is one I saw). There was this older white dude I read interview with who got them tattooed various sizes onhis body in an effort to re educate the public as to good original symbolism of the swastika.

And i sat that film on the ChingaLings a few times years ago too. JL I saw a clubhouse with some older brothers bikers on Long Beach Blvd i think, past the South Bay area. My sis didnt recall their name, but she say they been active since maybe the 60's out here.
