Punk "fusion" band? Fused with what? Funk? Hip-Hop? Why not just do a straight-up PUNK ROCK band?

because all the best bands got there influnce from othe types of music : The Ex, The Clash, and everyone in between punk alone is not technical or broad enough to really foster creativity. But it does have a lot of positive and muscal aspect that can be incorporated into other types of music
