Afro-punk

Hi guys,

Many of you have mentioned that they miss reading some of the discussions they had on the original Afro-Punk boards.
Here is a link to read the old threads! http://oldcommunity.afropunk.com
The original forum is "read-only", for all of you nostalgists!... If you would like to discuss further one of the topics, please let me know, or re-post it in the appropriate section of the new forum as a new thread (you can even include a link to the old thread as a reference).
Some of the popular discussions have already been re-created here, so please take a look at the new boards before you re-post something.

Thank you. Let me know if you have any questions.

It's Weird. It almost feels like that was a whole notha life. It hasn't even been a whole year yet. Looking through some of those post had me feeling like Charles Dickens :"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..."

Sho' you damn right, Polari. Am I feeling old. I also remember me and someone on there had this offline telephone conversation laughing and saying to me "Rosie, I can't believe I've been on here longer and you have WAAAAY more posts than me." Frankly, that was kind of embarrassing to realize that. ANYWAY.

Makes me wonder about certain people......where is Poison Ivey and Nubia Key? Like family that got in seperate paths due to living.
