I miss Silverlake/Los Feliz. I lived there with a good friend for about six years.

There is The Echo club on Sunset near the actual Echo Park that has on its website their schedule of all kinds of shows and music and events. And a friend here told me The Smell nearby is a nice little club for loud shows and bands.

Downtown is getting interesting, I've been working down here almost 20 years. What a trip....I was down at a party near Main St and was surprised to see a few galleries open at night after I left the party, as well as some restaurants bars cafe's too.

It's still kinda sparse but it's fun if you are persistent and do some exploring at night here.

Well i'm still sort of west coast. I'm in Arizona now and I love it. I like heat and little rain so this is the place. I moved from Nor Cal after being there my whole life. My hometown went to shit, it costs too much to live where I wanted to and it was a dead issue.
