The problem I'm running into now is that I do seek a committed relationship. But the examples I'm seeing folks go through now (outside of my parents) show that some of the most solid folks I know end up with partners who put them through serious hell, even when they sacrifice everything for them.

The negative is easiest to recall but some of my peolpe around me have great situations. I just don't dig the weak stuff that goes on. The last woman I was really connected to ended up moving away so I'm currently set in Cameo's single-single...Life!

It's cool but I wouldn't mind finding 'the one' very soon.

Being single is good sometimes because you really don't have to compromise on a lot of things that would take negotiations and discussion in a relationship. On the other hand, I think everyone wants to have a fun and supportive relationship with someone.

I like being single and have been for almost 3 years now. I don't really think I'm the kind of person whose supposed to be in romantic relationships with people. I don't believe in love, the idea of being physically intimate with someone just recently stopped creeping me out, something totally out of either of our control causes the relationship to end and I'm a very unattentive girlfriend. I'm not totally ruling it out though. I've lived in my own little world, left to my own devices for a really long time and sometimes it is nice to be around someone who you see as a kindred spirit or something like that I guess. *shrugs* I'm very meh on the whole subject of relationships...

i enjoy being single because i hate being under certain restraints and rules but it conflicts with me wanting to have the emotional support of a lover. its not the same when you share something with someone ur jus fucking and someone your making love to. whats odd is that Im not too big in love either like MissE but it feels better knowing that someone loves you

i hate the process of getting into relationships but once i'm in a relationship i love it! I wish people were more straightforward about what they want. Being single sucks when everyone else around you seems to be in love, otherwise I like being single for the most part because I don't have to answer to anyone.

I need to start dating again. I just got out of one relationship about a year ago now. I'm sooo lonely it's not even funny. I've gotta go out to shows more and meet new people. Hopefully i'll find the right one soon. Other people can handle being single. But I can't. Every day my mind goes around to thinking, "Why can't/don't I have someone I can wake up next to?". It's like an instant thing when I wake up. *Sighs*. I can't just do the focus on school/homework thing any more. There's nothing more I HATE than having to do that.

I like the single life for now...it gives me a chance to hang out with my friends more, hit the clubs, sleep in, spend less money, exercize more, ability to do more overtime, take weekend classes, etc.
