Wow. That's really fucked up for yall to say. Pay back? Not all of us guys have fucked women over. In fact, growing up I was the one getting fucked over. I NEVER cheated, and outside of being a little cold and self absorbed I always tried to be a good b/f. Two wrongs don't make a right, no matter how you distort it. Just like you don't wanna be generalized, neither do I. I'm not my brother's keeper. Stop painting us all with the same brush.
i know you aren't like that. i know a lot of guys aren't like that, and what i said was a generalization, but whoever started talking about his experience first (wasn't that ken k.?) started out with a gross generalization too. he said that he won't date east african women anymore because of what happened to him this time. then other guys agreed with him. nobody said "that's not fair, all east african women don't act like that" even though we know that they don't. how come if you're offended it means something, but when women are, guys are still high fiving him like he really said something big. it works both ways.
that's where it ends with me. once people start quoting each other to the nth degree i get overwhelmed and don't remember who said what to begin with.

Ken got a few responses for what he said, and not all of em were "high fives". What he said was a generalization and no, not all east african women are like that. If he chooses not to date them then that's on him, but it would be fucked up and malicious if he said something like "East african women play too many games. That's why I fuck em over every chance I get." I would've responded the same.i know you aren't like that. i know a lot of guys aren't like that, and what i said was a generalization, but whoever started talking about his experience first (wasn't that ken k.?) started out with a gross generalization too. he said that he won't date east african women anymore because of what happened to him this time. then other guys agreed with him. nobody said "that's not fair, all east african women don't act like that" even though we know that they don't. how come if you're offended it means something, but when women are, guys are still high fiving him like he really said something big. it works both ways.

It's all good in the game. And as the one who was so-called accused of "hi-fiving" about east African women, re-read my statements. Just funny that by some person's perspective (not Cocoa), I should screw & mess with the the emotions of every woman that steps up and exotizes & fethishizes my race, look & nationality. Damn, I've got some catching up to do...
That ain't gonna happen, too tiring. And for real, whatever works for is fine ladies & gents. All I say for either side is 'caveat emptor'.

Afro-punk is a platform for the other Black experience, the one we don't see in our media. D.I.Y (Do It Yourself) is the foundation.
