Dammit. Not again.

I was going to go to a pride blockparty but instead when to a discussion panel because they had a sign that said "bisexuals welcome" and that meant a lot to me.

What's up with straight girls assuming queer girls are after them because we must be after every girl? Seriously. ..where does that ish come from?

"Bitch I don't want you, I got standards."

You crack me up Mota.

In light of that humor: let me share with you a poem my friend Hector used to say all the time.

I love you, you love me.
Homosexuality
People think we're just friends
But we're really lesbians.

Right on, Ladies. Carry on.

Hellcat, I'll tell you where that comes from (in my opinion as the Old Straight lady).

It comes from straight women who also get nervous when a guy just talks to them and they think "oh, he must be interested or he would not have said hello."

Which ain't the case, but I think some straight women project that onto women they know are bi or strictly lesbian.

That all comes basically from fear and a sense of trying to protect yourself and block out people. Very common.

Woot.

Not a Punk, I'm avoiding pride, too. I had miserable time last year. Person I went there with was in hot pursuit of hot Argentinian bike-punk ass and I ended up doing nothing else but, tagging behind my friend while she stalked this chick AND then she never asked her out.

I need new friends.
