Exactly! It was sooo Sex and the City and a lot of the dialogue is so risque for the time. It really did stand up well, it immortalized Bea Arthur's talent for delivery better than almost anything she'd been in.

i can still watch golden girls. it stand up really well. i can't believe some of the stuff the got away with. the only difference between a lot of their dialogue and SATC is the profanity.

Talking Heads -- "Girlfriend is Better" (Stop Making Sense album version)

...Do I listen to this song every day? Probably. No idea what it's about, no idea why it's so infectious. But it always tempts me to jig in the stairwell at work, when no one's around.

Haven't heard that song in years. I'm waiting for some wack ass euro-dj to discover this version and have a club hit with the remix. Flip the track and speed it up to between 80-120 beats per minute (bpm). Drop a low pass filter on the track then compress it to bring out the bass line then replay it with a synth. Layer it on top the drop in any dancable drum track. Wala and this dude will be balling like Pilooski when he redid Frankie Valii's "Beggin'"

Yesterday at work I started off with Hank Williams Sr. (because Bocephus can kiss my butt, he is boring to me, sorry man), then went to the beautiful Trojan Lovers cd with Lips Of Wine and a bunch of other sweet songs that made me cry (and will make me smile and laugh again someday soon I hope!) and then Beulah and the Apples In Stereo and then and then, THE BEATLES really loud in the office by mysef because everyone else (all 4 of them) were either off, out, gone for the day, or cut out early. It was FUN singing at the top of my lungs with the speakers very loud. YES.

Well, I keep humming the opening riffs to Deep Purple's "Perfect Strangers", to the chagrin of all but one co-worker...

And thus begins a new downloading queue.
